The Meltdown event was created by Jack Silver to create community engagement and brand awareness for Artists that melt and pour precious metals into cool art. We are excited to announce the 5th year opening of submissions for the event!
**Official Rules of the #2024MeltdownEvent*
**1. Eligibility:**
- Contestants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Contest is open to legal residents of the USA and Canada.
**2. Entry Requirements:**
- All entries must be confirmed by August 15th, 2024.
- Contestants must select categories in which they wish to compete. Contestants may choose to compete in more than one category. Each category has 2 subcategories. Contestants may only have one submission per sub-category. Weight of pours is approximated.
**Category 1: Straight Pours**
- Silver poured into one-sided graphite or sand molds.
- 2 ounces (ozt) or less
- 5 ozt
**Category 2: Two-Sided Sand Cast Silver Pours**
- 2 ozt or less
- 5 ozt
**Category 3: Lost Wax Silver Pours**
- 2 ozt or less
- 5 ozt
**3. Submission Guidelines:**
- Final submissions must be mailed to DroneSilver999 at the address below. An auction will be held for the artists by Jack, and ALL proceeds/Payment go directly to the artist for each submission they make. Participants are encouraged to attend associated LIVE events but it is not mandatory. Auction winners will pay the contestants directly. Contestants are responsible for confirming payment from the auction winner and in turn send the mailing info to Jack Silver, who will provide tracking numbers to both the contestant and the auction winner. Registration fee covers shipping costs to auction buyers and prizes to participants. Auction items sold to purchasers outside of the US is optional per the contestant, and will receive a separate shipping quote, costs for shipping outside the US are to be covered by the participant, and are not covered by registration fees. In the event a submission does not sell at the auction, it will be returned to the artist, shipping is covered by registration fee.
- Each submission will be tested for 999 fine purity.
- All submissions must be mailed by Priority/Insured US MAIL to:

- The deadline for submissions is October 15th, 2025. Submissions received after the deadline will be returned to the sender, registration fee(s) are not refundable. DroneSilver999/JackSilver999fs is not responsible for lost packages. A tracking number must be provided for your submission. Jack will document mail calls for each submission and share in TikTok, which will be posted to the Jacksilver999fs (DroneSilver999) page.
- Sharing videos of your final submission prior to auction is permitted and recommended. All requested contest video challenges for the contest must include the following tags:

**4. Content Restrictions:**
- Videos containing violent, unsafe practices, or sexually explicit content will result in disqualification.
- Profanity is permitted at contestants' discretion but should be used sparingly. There are no events that require you to show your face on video.
**5. Judging Criteria:**
- Contestants will earn chances to win donated gifts based on their participation in the following categories:
Video post and tag Participants will receive point value based given to each event. Completing the event, gets =number of points, = number of chances In final drawing on November Award Party, to be announced. (LIVE EVENT)
- Bonus point opportunities will be announced on the @jacksilver999fs TikTok account.
- Each video posted with tags requested earn chances to win in the category of your submission.

**6. Additional Participation Requirements:**
- Participants may be asked to tag a contest sponsor as part of the contest challenges.
**7. Winner Notification:**
Date of Giveaway LIVE on TikTok to be announced.

- By participating, contestants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding.
**10. Disclaimer:**
- The sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their reasonable control impairs the integrity of the contest, as determined by the sponsor in their sole discretion. Contestants agree to the rules of the Drone Silver 999 Meltdown Contest, and understand they are subject to change. DroneSilver999 is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, loss or damages resulting from participation in the contest. By participating, contestants assume all risks and waive the right to hold DroneSilver999 liable for any claims or losses.
**11. PRIZES**
Each year Drone Silver provides 3 ounces of silver to contest winners. Additional sponsors will be posted on the website page as pledges are made. We appreciate any sponsor and donations to this cause.

2026 MELTDOWN Calendar!!
Thanks to Sandy Sage our 4th year of the event was commemorated with a super cool calendar with all the participants.
If you’d like your body marked on the calendar this year let us know! Also be sure to take some good pics before sending your final submission, so these may be collected at the end of the event for the calendar. Personal photos are optional.
REGISTRATION FEE
A $14 Registration Fee per participant is required for The 2025 MELTDOWN Contest. Registration pays for your auction shipping, and shipping for prizes and giveaways.
